Recent studies propose utilization of RAID-like techniques in addition to multiple cloud storage services as an effective solution, but to the best of our knowledge, there is no research work done on applying this approach to resource-constrained mobile devices. Based on the client's authorization, the proposed ID-DPDP protocol can realize private verification, delegated verification, and public verification.ĭespite high adoption rate among consumers, cloud storage services still suffer from many functional limitations and security issues. In addition to the structural advantage of elimination of certificate management, our ID-DPDP protocol is also efficient and flexible. The proposed ID-DPDP protocol is provably secure under the hardness assumption of the standard CDH (computational Diffie-Hellman) problem. Based on the bilinear pairings, a concrete ID-DPDP protocol is designed. The formal system model and security model are given. From the two points, we propose a novel remote data integrity checking model: ID-DPDP (identity-based distributed provable data possession) in multicloud storage. At the same time, the integrity checking protocol must be efficient in order to save the verifier's cost. In some application scenarios, the clients have to store their data on multicloud servers. It can make the clients verify whether their outsourced data is kept intact without downloading the whole data. Remote data integrity checking is of crucial importance in cloud storage. Under both approaches, most providers appear to offer pricing plans that are more expensive and can be ex- cluded from a procurement selection in favour of a limited number of dominant providers. Our comparison of pricing plans is conducted through a double approach: a pointwise comparison for each value of storage volume, and an overall comparison using a two-part tariff approximation and a Pareto-dominance cri- terion. We find that all the providers, excepting Amazon, adopt a bundling pricing scheme Amazon follows instead a block-declining pricing policy. We have surveyed the pricing plans of a selection of major cloud providers and compared them using the unit price as the means of comparison. The most apparent means of competition is pricing, though the complexity of pricing plans may make a comparison difficult.

Many companies now offer storage solutions, sometimes for free for limited volumes. In this paper, we are proposing design and implementation of an efficient multi cloud storage approach for resource constrained mobile devices that will consume fewer resources of mobile devices and give better results in terms of battery consumption, CPU usage and data usage.Ĭloud storage is fast securing its role as a major repository for both consumers and business customers.
So there is a need of an efficient multi cloud storage approach that will consume fewer resources of mobile devices. To deal with the free limited storage issue, a lot of multi cloud storage systems are available but none of them is capable to save resources of mobile devices as battery, CPU and data (Internet) usage. Which is the main issue as mobile devices have limited resources as battery, CPU, memory, etc.

To store or access data from remote storage (cloud storage) by using a desktop device as PC is not a problem but as the demand of smart mobile devices is increases day by day as compared to desktop devices if user want to store or retrieve data from cloud storage using these mobile devices, it will consume a lot of resources of mobile device. In todays scenario of Big Data, to reduce data management and maintenance cost, many companies and users starts shifting their data to cloud. Finally, open research challenges and future scope are discussed. In this article, we are providing a comparison of four MultiĬloud Storage Systems for mobile devices Otixo, Unclouded, Cloud Fuze and Clouds and evaluate their performance on the basis of CPU usage, Battery Consumption, Time consumption and Data usage parameters of 4G network using three mobile phones Nexus 5, Moto G and Nexus 7 tablets. Storage Systems exists in the market for mobile devices. So to evade these issues, the concept of Multi Cloud Storage introduced. Vendor lock-in, frequent service outage, data loss and performance related issues exist in single cloud storage Cloud Storage revolutionized the way how usersĪccess their data online anywhere, anytime and using any device as tablet, mobile, laptop, etc. Parties (CSPs) and located in different geographical locations. Cloud Storage is a model of online data storage where data is stored in a virtualized pool of servers hosted by third
